Identifying Expansion Opportunities
BlueButterfly brings modern technology to the meaningful process of honoring a loved one's life. Quantitative and qualitative market research, along with direct outreach, allowed us to identify market opportunity segments across demographic and psychographic criteria.
My work introduced BlueButterfly to new segments of the market in both the B2B and B2C spaces and supported the launch of the company's expansion into the Pets category.
INELDA PARTNERSHIP
I established BlueButterfly's first major organizational partnership with INELDA, the largest assocaition of end-of-life doulas in the United States. INELDA has trained over 7,000 end-of-life doulas and is a key touchpoint for families in need of end of life solutions.
CANA CREMATION
INNOVATION CONVENTION
After quickly ascertaining that the funeral and death care industry is driven almost entirely by face-to-face connection, I identified the CANA (Cremation Association of North America) annual Cremation Innovation convention as a prime opportunity for industry connection and market awareness. I produced BlueButterfly's convention booth and associated marketing materials and secured dozens of qualified B2B and enterprise leads for the company.
